FAQ – Tickets for the Snowcross World Championship in Granåsen

All tickets are purchased via Ticketmaster.
We recommend purchasing tickets in advance, as some ticket types are available in limited quantities.

What types of tickets are available?

We offer:

  • Arena tickets (Friday, Saturday daytime, or weekend pass)
  • Evening events in the WC tent (18+)
  • Premium-tickets (Silver & Gold)
  • Group packages for friends and companies (18+)


What does an arena ticket include access to?

An arena ticket gives access to:

  • The spectator area and grandstands (subject to capacity availability)
  • Free movement within the arena area
  • The FanZone with food trucks, food and beverage service, exhibitors, and activities
  • The riders’ paddock (as long as it is open to the public)
  • The WC tent on Saturday during the daytime (18+, limited capacity)


Arena tickets are valid for:

  • Friday afternoon/evening
  • Saturday daytime


Does an arena ticket give access to the WC tent in the evening?

  • No.


For access to the WC tent:

  • Friday evening → Requires a ticket for the WC Warm-Up
  • Saturday evening → Requires a ticket for the Afterparty & concert or Banquet + afterparty


Is there an age limit?

  • Arena: All ages
  • Children under 6 years: Free of charge (ticket required)
  • The WC tent and all evening events: 18+


Is grandstand seating included with an arena ticket?

  • Yes

    Grandstand seating is included, but:

  • The seats are not numbered
  • First come, first served applies


What is the difference between a Silver and Gold Ticket?

  • The Silver Ticket includes:
  • Arena friday + saturday
  • WC Warm-Up on Friday incl. tapas
  • WC tent during the daytime on Saturday
  • Afterparty & consert saturday
  • Gold Ticket includes
  • Everything included in the Silver Ticket
  • WC banquet on Saturday (exclusive event with a limited number of seats)


What are the group packages?

Group packages are ready-made “all-in-one” packages for 8 people (18+), perfect for:

  • Friendgroups
  • Companies
  • Teams and associations

The packages include, among other things:

  • Arena-access
  • Food and drinks
  • Evening events
  • Reserved tables in the WC tent
  • Group packages are sold in very limited numbers.


Can companies purchase group packages and receive an invoice?

Yes. Companies that:

  • Wants invoices
  • Looking for a customized group size (8+ people)
  • Want a tailor-made arrangement

Are there early bird prices?

  • Yes. Some arena tickets are sold as Early Bird tickets for a limited period.
    Prices may be adjusted after the Early Bird period ends.


Can I buy food on site?

Yes. There will be:

  • Food trucks in the FanZone
  • Food and beverage sales within the arena area

In addition, the following applies:

  • Tapas for the WC Warm-Up must be purchased in advance.
  • The WC banquet must be purchased in advance (limited number of seats).

Are the tickets refundable?

  • Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled in its entirety.
    For other terms and conditions, please refer to Ticketmaster’s terms of purchase.

The hotel is located 35 minutes from Trondheim Airport and 7 km south of Trondheim city center.

There will be booths, exhibitions, activities, and food and drink for sale. Open to all members of the public.
“The World Championship Tent” in the FanZone has an age limit of 18+

The Snowcross World Championship in Granåsen will be a celebration for the whole family, young and old alike!
“KidsZone” will be a dedicated area for the younger crowd. There will be opportunities to try riding a snowmobile (for children aged 5–12), face painting, a coloring competition, and other activities.

KidsZone is open on Saturday, April 11.

Where is the Snowcross World Championship held?

  • The Snowcross World Championship is held in Granåsen, Trondheim – a well-established event and recreation area with good public transport connections.

Where can i buy tickets?

  • All tickets are sold via Ticketmaster. (See tickets above.)


How do I get to the arena?

  • Granåsen is well served by public transport, and we recommend that visitors travel by public transport. Granåsen is well covered by bus routes via Byåsen.
    See AtB’s app or website. https://www.atb.no/reise/  for updated travel information. Route 23 serves Granåsen.
  • Walking and cycling: Granåsen is well suited for pedestrians and cyclists, and this is a great option for visitors living nearby.


Is there parking at the arena?

  • There is very limited parking at the arena, and we therefore recommend using public transport with AtB.
  • There is some parking available along Smistadvegen (no parking at Store P)
    First come, first served.
    There will be signage at the Kongsvegen / Smistadvegen intersection when the parking is FULL.

    Parking costs NOK 200 per day and is paid via Vipps on site.

  • Additional parking Saturday, April 11

    There will also be some parking available at Øvre Flatåsveg 4C
    (approximately a 2 km walking distance from the arena).

    SNX Granåsen AS is not responsible for any damage, theft, or loss that may occur to vehicles or belongings during parking.

    Always follow instructions from parking staff.


Is the event accessible for people with disabilities?

  • Ja. VM i Snowcross i Granåsen skal være et inkluderende arrangement, og arrangøren vil så langt det er praktisk. mulig tilrettelegge for personer med nedsatt funksjonsevne. Vi ønsker at arrangementet skal være tilgjengelig for alle.
  • A regular ticket must be purchased – free admission for companions with a valid companion certificate.
  • Designated accessible (disabled) area
  • Accessible (disabled) toilets available at the arena
  • Accessible parking: There will be a limited number of accessible parking spaces available near the arena.
    To ensure the best possible overview, we ask visitors who require accessible parking to:

  • A valid disability parking permit must be presented.


Is there food and beverage service at the arena?

 Yes. The arena will have:

  • Food stalls and food trucks in the “FanZone” area
  • Food and beverage service in the “WC tent” (18+ age limit)
  • In the “WC tent,” there will also be a “WC Warm-Up” on Friday and a banquet/afterparty on Saturday, where tickets including food can be purchased.


What should I wear?

  • The event takes place outdoors in April.
    We recommend warm clothing and footwear suited to the weather and ground conditions.


What am I not allowed to bring into the arena?

For safety reasons, the following are:

  • Not allowed to bring alcohol into the arena
  • Restrictions apply to large bags and backpacks
  • Visitors are required to follow the instructions of security staff and officials

We invite you to a World Championship Warm-Up in the WC tent (18+ age limit) by the “FanZone” on Friday from 5:00 PM. Drinks will be available for purchase. For those who’d like something to eat, tapas will be offered.
Tickets for the “World Championship Warm-Up” and food must be purchased in advance on the ticket page.

After the qualifying rounds are finished on the track, we kick off live music with Miriam Labreche Duo on vocals. There’s guaranteed to be a great atmosphere and plenty of energy!

The Snowcross World Championship in Granåsen is an international motorsport event and involves the use of motorized vehicles. At the same time, the organizer is aware of its responsibility to reduce environmental impact where possible and to ensure positive benefits for the local community, volunteers, and sports.

The event is held in the existing facilities at Granåsen, using temporary installations and without permanent impact on nature or the landscape. Measures are taken to encourage the use of public transport and to provide clear visitor communication regarding transportation and accessibility, as well as responsible resource use through waste sorting and reuse.

Social sustainability is a key focus, with an emphasis on volunteering, inclusion, and collaboration between multiple sports clubs. Through side activities and club involvement, the event aims to encourage children and young people to participate in organized sports, while also contributing to local value creation in Trondheim and Trøndelag.

The work on sustainability and social responsibility particularly supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals 3, 11, 12, and 17.

Event Overview

The Snowcross World Championship in Granåsen will be one of the region’s biggest winter sports events of the year. The world’s best snowcross riders will gather for action-packed championship races in the heart of Trondheim – featuring high energy, a great crowd atmosphere, and international attention. The event is organized in collaboration by the clubs MK Trondhjem, Selbu MK, and NMK Verdal/Levanger through the company SNX Granåsen AS.
Elias Ishoel, who became world champion in 2025 and has competed professionally in the USA in recent years, will help build the track to ensure a modern World Championship course with high speeds and spectacular jumps. An estimated 70–100 riders from many different nationalities are expected to participate. 
A Freestyle SNX show will also be part of the World Championship program. This segment promises to be spectacular, with André Villa – one of the world’s most accomplished FMX riders – joining as an advisor and creative developer. Villa will contribute to the design of an adrenaline-filled freestyle show that is set to become one of the event’s major crowd highlights.

Alex Rosén, known from NRK among others, will be present throughout the World Championship weekend. He will act as a ‘stunt reporter’, assist the announcers, and help create energy and excitement around the arena.

In the Fan Zone, there will be exhibitions and booths, as well as food and drinks available for purchase.
